| A: | Leadership is an important skill for teens. The WHS Chapter of Student Council gives students the opportunity to be involved in a group that benefits the school and community as a whole through numerous Activities and Fund Raisers. | |

| Q: | How does all of this work get accomplished? | |
| A: | Every other Wednesday, Student Council holds a meeting to report what is going on in each committee. These committees meet every week to discuss in detail the job duties. With hard work, a committee completes its task. | |
| Q: | Is there a certain person in charge of these meetings? | |
| A: | Yes, there is. That includes our Student Council Advisors, Karla Olson and Dustin Bratlien. There are also the Student Council Officers: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Those four titles are voted upon within the Student Council. | |
| President: Calls meetings to order, has final say in many situations, tries to keep the group focused on their many taks and much much more. | ||
| Vice President: Basically the same tasks as the President, but does not have final say and does not call meetings to order. If the President is gone, the Vice President takes over for the President. | ||
| Secretary: Keeps notes on what's happening during a meeting. Keeps attendance records and writes updates for the Parent Newsletter. | ||
| Treasurer: Handles and keeps account of all the Student Council's money. | ||
