Advanced Placement (AP) courses allow students to obtain high school and college credit for a minimal cost. Students take the course at the high school level and have the option of taking an AP exam to earn college credit or advanced standing at most of the nation's colleges and universities. Cost to take the exam for year 2003-2004 was $82.00. This may change for year 2004-2005.
