Eligibility:

Any high school student enrolled in grades eleven or twelve who have permission from their high school administration is eligible for enrollment in a NDUS dual-credit course. Students should contact their high school counselor or teacher for advice regarding academic readiness to participate in dual-credit courses.

Dual credit provides high school students an opportunity to take college classes while in high school earning both college and high school credit.
 
Permission:

Before enrolling in a dual-credit course, high school students must obtain permission from the school district superintendent and complete the North Dakota University System Dual-Credit Enrollment Application form with the appropriate signatures.
 
Enrollment Application:

Students wishing to take a college-level dual-credit course, documented through a Williston State College grade transcript, shall submit the following to Admissions & Records at Williston State College:

1. North Dakota University System Dual-Credit Enrollment Application form
2. North Dakota University System Application for Admissions form
3. $35.00 Application fee
 
Tuition/Fee Payment:

Dual-credit students pay the WSC the current tuition rate per credit hour along with pro-rated fees similar to those charged by the host institution for regular on-campus students.
