Vision
The Williston Community takes pride in being a family of respectful, responsible, enthusiastic, life-long learners. We are committed to develop each individual's talents and capabilities to the fullest.

Mission
Through positive instruction and community leadership, students of Williston Public School District #1 will be people of sound character. Our students will be self-directed, with highly developed academic, communication, and life skills, empowering them to become productive, responsible, and contributing members of society.

SMART Goals
1-Assessment: All staff will analyze student data to improve student learning and achievement.

2-Literacy: By fall 2007, 90 percent of all students (3-6) will be proficient or advanced proficient in reading as evidenced by NDSA

3-Math: By fall of 2007, 85% of grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be proficient or advanced proficient in Math as evidenced by the NDSA

4-NDSA: By fall 2007, ALL students will be 90% proficient/advanced in reading and 85% proficient/advanced in mathematics on NDSA.
