Vision
The Williston Community takes pride in being a family of respectful, responsible, enthusiastic, life-long learners. We are committed to develop each individual's talents and capabilities to the fullest.

Mission
Through positive instruction and community leadership, students of Williston Public School District #1 will be people of sound character. Our students will be self-directed, with highly developed academic, communication, and life skills, empowering them to become productive, responsible, and contributing members of society.

Belief Statement

SMART Goals
1-Assessment: All staff will utilize data to improve student learning and achievement.

2-Literacy: By fall 2008, 90% of all students (3-6) will be proficient or advanced proficient in reading as evidenced by NDSA.

3-Math: By the fall of 2008, 90% of students (3-6) will be proficient or advanced proficient in Math as evidenced by NDSA.

4-NDSA: By the Fall of 2008, students in grades 3-6 will be 90% proficient/advanced proficient in reading and 90% proficient/advanced proficient in math on the NDSA.
